Trading Accounts
Standard and Pro accounts, spreads, lot sizes, swap-free conditions and account selection.
Elefin offers two main account types: Standard and Pro. Both accounts are swap-free, support a minimum lot size of 0.01, allow a maximum lot size of 200 and may offer leverage up to 1:2000.
The Standard account is designed for traders who want simple fixed pricing and broad access to Elefin markets. It offers the account with applicable spreads subject to current market and platform conditions.
The Pro account is designed for active or higher-volume traders who prefer tighter pricing. It offers a higher number of symbols, higher leverage and better spreads subject to current Elefin conditions.
The main difference is pricing, leverage and spreads. Pro offers tighter spreads than Standard on key instruments, you get more instruments on the pro account type and higher leverage while both account types share the same swap-free status, minimum and maximum lot sizes, margin call level and stop-out level.
Many new traders may prefer the Standard account because it is straightforward and easy to understand. However, the right account depends on trading style, volume, risk tolerance and experience. Elefin does not provide personal investment advice, so clients should choose after reviewing all account conditions.
Active traders may prefer the Pro account because it offers tighter spreads and access to all the major instruments. Traders should compare total trading costs, trading frequency and execution conditions before deciding.
Swap, also known as rollover, is an overnight financing charge or credit that may apply when a trading position is kept open after the market’s daily rollover time. The swap amount can depend on the instrument being traded, trade direction, market conditions, and applicable account rules.
Yes, Elefin offers swap-free trading on both Standard and Pro accounts. This means traders can hold positions overnight without standard swap charges being applied under normal account conditions. However, trading costs, product conditions, or account rules may vary depending on market conditions, instrument specifications, and Elefin’s latest policies.
The minimum lot size on both Standard and Pro accounts is 0.01 lot. This allows traders to open smaller position sizes, but risk still depends on instrument volatility, leverage, stop-loss use and account equity.
The maximum lot size on both Standard and Pro accounts is up to 200 lots. Platform liquidity, risk controls, market conditions or account-specific settings may still affect actual execution and accepted order size.
Standard accounts may offer leverage up to 1:1500 whereas Pro accounts may offer leverage up to 1:2000. Leverage can increase both potential profit and potential loss, and Elefin may apply lower leverage depending on account type, instrument, client profile, account conditions or risk controls.
The margin call level is 50% on both account types. This means the account enters a warning stage when equity falls close to the required margin level, and clients should reduce risk or add funds before stop-out occurs.
The stop-out level is 30% on both account types. If the margin level falls to the stop-out level, positions may be automatically closed by the platform without prior notice to reduce exposure.
Yes you can open multiple accounts under the same profile with different account types. Each account remains subject to verification, platform limits, funding rules and Elefin risk controls.
Leverage changes may be available through the trading portal or support, subject to Elefin approval. Lower leverage can reduce risk by requiring more margin per trade, while higher leverage increases the impact of price movement on account equity.
Account-currency changes may require a new trading account or internal transfer depending on platform configuration. Currency conversion costs may apply when deposits, withdrawals or transfers involve different currencies.
The commissions are applied depending upon the account type. The latest commission related information is published under the account type section. If Elefin introduces additional commissions, markups or other charges, it will be displayed clearly in the account specifications and platform section of the website.
“From” indicates the lowest published spread under normal conditions, not a guarantee that every trade will execute at that level. Execution may be affected by market volatility, liquidity, order type, news events and platform conditions.
No. Spread values, contract sizes, margin requirements, trading hours and volatility can vary by instrument. Always review the specific symbol conditions in MT5 or the Elefin contract specification before trading.
Elefin may amend spreads, charges, margin requirements or policies in line with market conditions, risk controls or prior notice requirements. One should review the latest account specifications and platform notifications.
Consider your trading frequency, preferred instruments, average position size, spread sensitivity and risk tolerance. The Pro account has tighter spreads, while the Standard account offers a simple structure that may be easier for new traders to understand.
Yes you can open a demo account under our client portal. A demo account can help you learn platform functions and order types without using real funds, but demo results do not guarantee live trading results.
